STARTING A COLLECTIVE AND WHY WE DECIDED TO DO IT

I’m so excited to announce that OWS is teaming up with a group of other amazing designers, photographers, copywriters, and marketing specialists to form Catalog Collective! Because let’s face it, strong branding needs good photography, copy, and marketing, along with its strategy and design. In my projects, I do help with photo direction, possible copy, and how to market, but collaborating with these experts will make everything so much more seamless and impactful for each project.

 

 

As a collective ourselves, we will not only team up on projects but be each other’s support system and mini-community. In a world of entrepreneurs, soloprenuers, and people that simply work from home… community is everything! When you work from home (and the occasional coffee shop), running your own business 100% on your own can be draining, lonely and sometimes just unmotivating. Sure this may not be the case for everyone, but it’s a common conversation I have with most. I’ve found finding a community of like-minded people has helped my day-to-day tremendously. Through community, we support one another, collaborate with each other, and reach out when we need help. Personally, I’ve found an amazing community both online and locally (IRL). I’m so grateful to have both of these communities, they have truly helped me keep going and growing.
